In the year 2000, the Black Mesa Research Facility conducted an interdimensional teleportation experiment with a crystal of unknown origin that resulted in a resonance cascade event. Our lore is for the most part standard Half-Life lore up until around 2014 when more HL2RP specific factions and characteristics related to our server and its characters begin making their appearance.
